Kids’ Picnic Table
What did you do as a child without being afraid of anything?
I remember my parents telling me how I would climb on things and jump right off when no fear was holding me back. All I really cared was having fun when I was a toddler to preschooler age to 7-8 years old. My dad said he worried that I would get hurt myself and he felt like he was getting a heart attack every time I did it. All I remember is jumping off the monkey tree without anyone carrying me down or jumping off the kids’ picnic table I had when I was younger.
What did you guys do when you were younger that you took a risk without worrying or fearing anything? Did your parents worried like crazy when you do that stuff? Did you think you had a lot of fun of your little adventure?
Hi Princess… I was a tree climber. (little or no fear of heights) The only limitation was my ability to find trees that had ‘limb placements’ that allowed my small body (and strength) to scale their heights. Once I managed to reach as high as I could… I hung on and enjoyed the view from that height.
I don’t remember ever falling. Maybe I was just lucky. (or my ‘Guardian Angel’ watched over me).
I don’t recall when I stopped climbing… probably around age 12.
